Webem-lab is composed of Eleonora Pironti and Enrico Manna and it was started in 2005.
What we enjoy most is finding new ideas on the network for our projects. For this we spend a lot of time connected to the internet.
We observe, interact and then develop new strategies for our projects.
The network gives a voice to all, and this is a new phenomenon. There are those who open a blog to keep a personal diary, to publish their own videos taken with a mobile phone, to insert photos on an online community, and then the many sites of various companies or groups etc. The common purpose of all these sites is simple: to communicate, interact and get to know each other.

My experience on the web began with the development of Eliodoro, a site created to promote my import-export business. My initial role was to study and produce the graphic interface and then support Enrico on the programming side.
Then with Studiodesimoneonline and Mvmassaggi, in addition to enhancing the use of HTML and photoshop, I started to get involved in programming and the use of the open source technologies that we use.
The world of Internet, with its infinite possibilities of application, has almost completely absorbed me!
I have always been interested in communication, especially when orientated towards the use of images, whether static or animated.
Photography has always been one of my greatest passions. To capture images, emotions, and most of all details and to record them forever, principally in black and white in order to be able to develop them myself.
In my Flickr profile 'Eliodoro', I can publish my photos and interact with other people who are interested in photography.
I enjoy drawing, from time to time, to express my personal fantasies.
I have also been a keen movie-goer for many years, and thousands of reels of film!
All of this has served as a foundation on which to build my present career.

My first experiences took place in the university faculty, where the web was used for communication between research centers.
I started to experiment on the Internet with the same passion that I had dedicated to my physics studies, and in '98 I moved to Milan to get closer to the only Italian companies that were working with the web at the time.
I started off at 'Prisma 2.0', working on the development of an e-commerce site, 'Biblioservice' - a project for the sale of books online, one of the first in Italy.
After that I went to 'Over Technology', a company specialized in the insurance and finance field, once again web-based.
In 2001 I was taken on by 'Etnoteam', a company I chose to apply to on the merit of its slogan: "Internet Partners".
The clients of 'Etnoteam' were all big name companies, to name a few:
- RAI (working on the project for the management of programme schedules)
- 'Unicredito' (a financial calculation model)
- 'Banca Intesa' (commercial analysis solutions for branch managers)
- 'Snam' (a project for the management of the distribution network)
- 'Pirelli-Telecom' (the company intranet)
- 'Vodafone' (the intranet for Vodafone Italy)
As well as these experiences I continued to explore and monitor the developement of the web with regards to its use by smaller organizations.
The web grew quickly but it was difficult for observers to predict in which direction it was going to go.
So we come to the present:
... a rapidly evolving phenomenon, a constantly fascinating theme, where experimentation is the order of the day ..
These are the aspects that intrigue me the most. The Internet is a global phenomenon, which offers a million opportunities and involves all walks of life.
